Luk Rombauts

Professor Luk Rombauts is the Head of the Reproductive Medicine Clinic at Monash Health, Monash University. He is the President of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand and President of the World Endometriosis Society. He is also a Trustee of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation. He is an infertility subspecialist with a Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) subspecialty CREI qualification. His large private specialist practice in Melbourne focuses on endometriosis and infertility.

He is the Group Medical Director of Monash IVF Group (ASX:MVF), one of the largest publicly-listed IVF companies globally (>15,000 IVF cycles per year) and he leads the Clinical Research Unit of Monash IVF in Victoria. His strong track record in reproductive medicine and translational research in the field of women’s health (148 publications) includes a special focus on endometriosis.

His work on a core outcome set for endometriosis (BJOG 2021) led to several World Endometriosis Society consensus statements, and four papers detailing the standard operating procedures of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation Endometriosis Phenome and Biobanking Harmonization Project.
